Every now and then you have to decide to stick with what you know. I know ONE STAR NITE. As an artist I have hundreds of thousands of ideas on how to reinvent myself. How I am going to change or tweak something to make it new again. As I drove into work sipping my delicious cup of coffee and listening to MEST (great band) I was taken back to the roots of where all my passion for music even stemmed from! Its awesome for me to go back into the OSN catalog of songs and listen to how the music and the songs have evolved and changed onver time.
This past September we "broke up" with an official goodbye show and the whole shabang! Ive been writing songs and recording in studio with a good friend of mine to help me get by with all my artistic feelings ive had through these last 5 months. Something is always missing though. I dont know if I can live without rocking out in my band every once in a while! Everyone has a release and for 3 of us, ONE STAR NITE is our time of freedom where we can really own everything we do.
We will never be a touring band. We will never be on MTV or win a grammy. We might only play a show once a year! But... We will always need ONE STAR NITE. And we will always have it.
With that said, we are going to be playing a show in April at Stray Cats. Its not a comeback show cause the reality is we never really went anywhere! It's just OSN doing what we do best. Playing Songs and having a good time doing so!
We are like the Brett Favre of AZ local music!
